Greater Egypt Planning & Development Corporation services include economic development planning and assistance, hazard mitigation planning, transportation planning, water quality management planning, local government services such as Enterprise Zone administration, GIS mapping, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) drone services in addition to administrative services for local, state, and federal programs. www.greateregypt.org

 

 

The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SIU provides assistance to regional entrepreneurs.  The SBDC offers specialized services to include Technology, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and International Trade.   The SIU Small Business Incubator is located within the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center.  www.econdev.siu.edu

Benton-West City Economic Development Corporation – Benton features two industrial parks located on both the east and west sides of Interstate 57. Four Rock Bit manufacturers are located in the two parks. There are three excellent facilities now available for medium and large manufacturing companies along with several acres of open land ready for development. These areas are in an enterprise zone and offer many tax incentives to new companies. A new tract of land is now I-57 Airport Business Park located on the West side of Interstate 57.
